Inspection is Conducted at Facilities.
Companies that want to obtain a
TSE Certificate for the product they produce must apply with the necessary documents. Following the application, an evaluation is made. If the documents are submitted completely, the necessary inspections are carried out at the facility or facilities where the product is manufactured within a maximum of 1 month. As a result of these inspections, it is understood whether the facility or facilities where the product is manufactured comply with the standards. If approval is given regarding compliance, samples are taken from the manufactured product and sent to the laboratory. As a result of the tests and experiments conducted in the laboratory, it is understood whether the product complies with the standards set by the Turkish Standards Institution. TSE Certificates, which are valid for 1 year, are issued for products whose laboratory tests also yield positive results.
The Validity Period of the Certificate Can Be Extended.
All inspections and tests are carried out by impartial persons. There are clear criteria for compliance with standards. For the benefit of consumers, no compromise is made on these standards. The certificate held by the product that successfully passes the necessary stages is valid for only 1 year. It is possible to extend the validity period of this certificate. For this, inspections and tests are carried out by persons assigned by the Turkish Standards Institution. If it is observed that the company maintains the necessary and previously approved standards in its production facility and product, the validity period of the certificate is extended.
