Necessary Procedures to Work in Our Country
Foreign personnel work permit is regulated by the Law on Work Permits for Foreigners. For temporary jobs, a 1-year permit can be granted. For permanent positions, the condition for obtaining a work permit is to have resided in Turkey for at least 8 years continuously, along with a 6-year work requirement. Foreigners who wish to obtain an independent work permit must have fulfilled the condition of residing in Turkey for at least 5 years continuously. Relevant permits are granted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security to foreigners who meet these conditions. The permit becomes valid with the obtained visa and residence permit.
