Due to the traffic congestion caused by parked vehicles on main streets, where even vip minivan rental advertisements can be found, and due to intense public complaints, vehicle owners who initially receive warnings and do not heed them are now being fined.
Vehicle Rental Advertisements Stand Out
Mayor Turhan Candan stated that the vehicles cause both traffic congestion and unfair competition, and announced that they will only allow vehicles to be sold through car dealerships, continuing to impose fines in other cases. Vehicle owners, who have also posted rental advertisements in addition to for-sale signs, find the practice unfair and stated that they will appeal the penalties.
