What is a CE Certificate

Who is Entitled to Obtain a CE Certificate

Its Turkish meaning is AT Certificate, which can also be defined as the Turkish European Community Certificate (CE = European Community), meaning the European Community Declaration of Conformity. This mark, which we see on the product and its labels and packaging, indicates that it has been produced and packaged in accordance with the conformity standard conditions valid throughout Europe and, moreover, throughout the world. A manufacturer with a CE certificate is entitled to obtain a CE Certificate from an authorized institution, provided that they meet the specified technical analysis conditions, production conditions, environmental compatibility, and similar requirements.

What Authorities are Granted to Those Who Obtain a CE Certificate

The name and address of the manufacturing company, the title and address of the institution that inspects and approves the conditions required by the certificate, the numbers indicating which norms the certificate complies with, and the start and end dates of the certificate are filled in and approved by the relevant institution. The manufacturer holding the CE Certificate has the authority to market their product and its emblem in large markets such as Europe, as long as they possess this certificate.
